Q.Ficus tree losing leaves

Zone Charlotte North Carolina | JenniferAker added on May 5, 2015 | Answered

I have a ficus tree that’s around ten years old. This past winter it lost all its leaves. I’ve put new dirt in the pot and have it in a sunny corner of my house, but it hasn’t got any of its leaves back. Is there anything I can do to help it or is it dead? I need help with caring for my tree. Is there plant food I can give it? A mineral they like? Help.

If your ficus has lost all of it's leaves and the stems snap if you bend them your plant may have died.
If you can bend them or if you see green if you scratch the branches there may be life left in your plant.
Here is a link to ficus care. You can go through the checklist of possible problems.
