Q.I Have A Calamondin Plant That Was Damaged By The Cold.

Zone Longs, South Carolina | Anonymous added on February 16, 2024 | Answered

I live in South Carolina and I have a Calamondin tree that was damaged by the cold. It was wrapped in burlap and a plastic bag when it got cold. It still has green on the bottom but the top is like bleached out. Can I trim it back now so it will bloom again. Thank you.

You need to wait till spring when all frosts have passed before cutting it back. Leaving the stems and foliage now will help protect it from further cold damage. This article should help:
