Q.I Have A 3’-4’ Nuttall Oak. Can I Plant It Now?
I live in the Texas Hill country and it gets pretty cold here. Is it too late in the fall to plant it now? I don’t want to lose it since winter is do close and the tree won’t have a good root system. It’s in a pot right now. If I can plant it now, are there things I can do to protect it in the cold winter months? I was appreciate the help. Julie

Wait till spring to plant it. You can overwinter it in the garage, watering about once a month. Here are some tips:
