Q.I Have A 3’-4’ Nuttall Oak. Can I Plant It Now?

Zone Kerrville Texas | Anonymous added on November 14, 2022 | Answered

I live in the Texas Hill country and it gets pretty cold here. Is it too late in the fall to plant it now? I don’t want to lose it since winter is do close and the tree won’t have a good root system. It’s in a pot right now. If I can plant it now, are there things I can do to protect it in the cold winter months? I was appreciate the help. Julie
