I live in FL. My crape myrtle trees never seem to do as well as my neighbors. It’s been like that for years. All the other shrubbery in my front yard seem to do well including my grass. Am I missing some key nutrient. I have an irrigation system The trees get plenty of water.

You may want to test your soil. Crape Myrtles like a slightly acidic soil with a pH of 5.0 to 6.5 so you may need to make some soil amendments. Check to be sure your trees aren't being shaded - they like full sun. The soil test will indicate if they need fertilization. Normally they don't need it.
