Gardenia Plants

Q.I have 2 mini-gardenia bushes planted at the same time but one is doing bad.

I planted them both, one on each side of the garage door, one is flourishing and the other one looks sickly. There are some yellow leaves and it is thin. I have looked it up and tried everything suggested. The other one is beautiful, full, green and lots of flowers.
