Q.I don’t understand why my bonsai is dying

Zone 92126 | Anonymous added on June 6, 2020 | Answered

I was given a bonsai tree as a gift about 3 months ago. I believe it is Juniper. It has sharp and needle-like leaves and had a green/blue color when I got it. I was wrong about where I placed it. It did not receive enough sunlight. I noticed it when it started to turn yellow. I put it outside but it is not reviving and after a week of being outdoors it is still yellow color. Every time I touch it, it loses some leaves. I know I was not wrong with my watering.
I live in San Diego California. The climate is somewhat humid and usually between 68-74 degrees around this time of the year.

Please help me.

Bonsai are best grown outdoors. It may be too late for this bonsai, but this article will help if you get another:
