Q.I Can’t Figure Out What Type Of Plant I Have
Also, my cat ate a lot of my plant and I noticed it’s dying. I bought a hanging planter today so that he can’t reach it anymore. I used two pumps of miracle grow into the planter to try and save it. I need help with trying to bring this plant back to life. Do I need a bigger pot? Do I need to trim anything and how do I do it? I’m struggling! It would be helpful to know what type of plant it is so I can make a routine watering schedule for it as to not kill it further.

If you sent a photo, I did not get it. Check online for common household plants. But here are general tips on taking care of houseplants. In regard to watering, let the soil dry between waterings. Most people tend to overwater houseplants. You can stick your finger in the soil to see if it is dry. Most houseplants need indirect, but bright light. So, make sure it is near a window. And fertilizing once each spring is often plenty. Some plants, like Schefflera, don't need fertilizer at all.
