Q.nikko hydrangea plants

Anonymous added on August 17, 2015 | Answered

I bought 2 large Nikko hydrangea plants a couple wks ago (bush/shrub) from a nursery. The leaves became droopy about the 4th-5th day after. What should I do? I’ve always loved hydrangeas…see them everywhere. I’m devasated. Please help. Thank you.

Daily watering is important for new planting for the first 2 weeks.
Water the shrubs and adding 2 to 3 inches of hardwood mulch will help with moisture retention.
