Can you tell me why my hydrangeas have these long stems that look like little seeds on them? What do I do about them?

This is not a typical way for a Hydrangea to send out seeds.

Can you send an image?

In most cases seeds are formed after the flower heads fade.

You can deadhead the plants in the fall or early spring.
