I own a hydrangea tree and the branches are all growing towards the front of the tree. How do I train the tree’s branches to fill in the empty spots so it has a uniform shape?

This might be an issue of where the light is coming from. If the tree is shaded on one side, you may not be able to do anything about it.

If light is not the issue, pruning should be able to fix the problem. These sites have great guides to pruning shrubs with how-to pictures:
