Q.Hydrangea Trees

Zone upper eastern corner of Tennessee ( Johnson City, TN. ) | Anonymous added on May 17, 2016 | Answered

I’ve seen beautiful Hydrangea trees shown for sale from some of the greenhouses. I’m assuming there is a way that they are using to create these magnificent trees, so I wanted to see if anyone could explain to me how this process is done. I love the look of these glorious blooming trees but wondered if I could start this process myself and end up with Hydrangea trees instead of having to pay the small fortune to buy several of them. If anyone could give me instructions in this process I would love doing the work myself, having the end result being some beautiful Hydrangea trees! So any info you could pass along to me would be so greatly appreciated! Thank you, Bornblues!

Here is a link to an article with a video that explains the process of how this is done. It is certainly something you can do yourself if you are up for a challenge!
