Q.Hibiscus Plant

Anonymous added on January 25, 2014 | Answered

My hibiscus looks healthy; however, I noticed it is starting to get buds and right before they open they are covered with something that looks fuzzy, I assume some kind of aphid. What is the best thing to do?

Are they white? These could be mealy bugs. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/mealybugs-white-residue-on-plants-leaves.htm Aphids and scale also attack hibiscus plants. At any rate, neem oil can be used to treat the plant, regardless of the pest. Here is additional information that will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm
