Q.hibiscus
Hibiscus has not flowered for over a year, but is healthy and growing new leaves. It is about 4 feet tall. Does it need to be transplanted into bigger pot?

Have you fertilized the plant? Sometimes fertilizer that is high in nitrogen can decrease blooms, actually focusing more on the foliage growth instead. If it bloomed in the past and is not blooming now, it is likely a phosphorus deficiency. I would add bone meal around the plant. Also, what about light? Hibiscus needs plenty of light to promote blooming. Make sure the plant is getting at least 6 hours of light a day.
In addition, if you pruned too late, then this could contribute to the flowering delay. Maybe this article on pruning hibiscus will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/tips-for-pruning-hibiscus-plants-when-to-prune-hibiscus.htm
