Q.How To Tell When Radish Is Ready To Take Out

Zone 90068 | PlanetMu added on August 5, 2015 | Answered

I have A Sparkler White Tip radish in my garden and planted it in the summer. It has been 3 weeks and I water it daily in the sun. I saw that the stem was red and I don’t know if that means it is ready to harvest. How can I know when it is ready to harvest? Your help would be amazing.

Radish are generally a cool weather crop. If the bulbs are not forming, it may be simply to warm for your radish.
