Q.How To Store Harvested Ginger Root Over Winter In Sub Tropical NSW Australia

I will plant rizomes again early spring but need to store them for 2 months, best way to store please

In your zone, you can leave it in the ground overwinter and it will resprout in spring. They naturally go dormant in the winter so you can wrap them in newspaper and store in a dark closet over winter. You also can store ginger in the freezer for long-term storage (color may change).
