Q.how to revive a vanilla orchid

I had my vanilla orchid outside last year and it did well. I had it indoors this winter, and when I took it back out, a squirrel uprooted it! How can I save it? Its root was sheared by the trauma.

You may not be able to save it as the damage sounds extensive, but the best you can do is to treat it as though it is in transplant shock. This article will help with that:
