How To Regtass Loots Of Bate Ness Due To Moss Killing

Question

Have used aftercut on my lawn and turns out their is lots of dead moss, its dark brown so trying to remove it by hand. I have a pampas grass in the lawn along with some other smaller plants,I’m wanting a greener lawn and better results from my pampas grass especially. . What do I do with a datk patchy looking lawn now ? never been a gardener however because I have more time to spend on it , just want it to look well mentained and nice to look at. I will appreciate simple straight forward steps on how to achive this . Thankyou so much for your time and help, much appreciated.
