Q.How to Properly Care for Calla Lily

topo1956 added on June 28, 2011 | Answered

Most of my Calla Lilies are doing fine, but some of them, when they begin to bud, the buds form a round fuzzy “knot”, which I think is preventing them from blooming. I keep them moist and in the sun. Sometimes the leaves turn brown as well, either from heavy rain or overexposure to the sun. . . I’m not sure. I would greatly appreciate any helpful tips or advice.

Thank you,
Carol

This sounds like a fungus is attacking the buds. You can treat the plants wil a fungicide weekly to keep the fungus away.
