over? I have tried to see exactly what to do with these plants now but can’t see any proper info. I can bring in but it will be warm in the house. Some articles say cover does that mean they should be in the dark all winter or on a windowsill?

Every article I read said to discard them after spring flowering, they won't flower again. If you want to try, give it filtered light as through a sheer curtain. (You don't need to cover it.) It needs a cool environment so put it in the coolest part of your home, such as 16 degrees C. It needs to be moist but not wet, and well drained.
