Q.How to Keep Sago Palm the Same Height

Zone 8 | jtherr527 added on October 10, 2011 | Answered

The Sago palm is planted under the front window of the house. I don’t want it to get any taller. It’s very healthy. How can I keep it at it’s current height?

There is not much you can do to keep it forever from growing up. Due to the nature of their growth, if they are completely prevented from growing up, they will die.

You can, however, make sure not to accelerate its growth. I would limit fertilizers to the plant, for sure and do not over water.
