How To Keep An Indoor Jasmine Plant Alive

Hi, we have a Jasmine plant that was very happy and produced beautiful smelling flowers for a while. Unfortunately it’s now become very woody and one of the plants in the pot appears to have died. I have cut it right back in the hope that this will promote growth, is there anything else you’d suggest?
