How To Harvest Basil And Keep Plant Growing

I have basil grown from seed. Plants are not very robust and I’d like to know how to harvest basil and keep plant growing

Personally, I like to Cut the top 1/3 of the plant, and use that to dry or use, immediately. Let some lateral growth recover on the plant, then pluck the remaining larger leaves and use those. Repeat the process until it flowers, or becomes to strong to use for culinary purposes.
