Q.How To Grow Roses From Plant Cuttings Amateur Gardener

I have 2x rose bushes in my front yard that are full of roses. I dont know much about gardening but want to trim/clip the knockout bush & replant the cuttings in my yard. How do I go about doing this?

Here are instructions for producing plants from cuttings but many rose varieties are protected from reproduction. Check the tag.
