how to get rid of brown patch in lawn

Anonymous added on June 18, 2015 | Answered

We have had a lot of rain this year and now have patches of brown in our lawn that was sodded last year. We have applied one dose of a commercial fungicide and realized this could get expensive! Any suggestions on the most effective homemade fungicide?

This article will help with making your own fungicide: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/info/homemade-fungicide.htm

That said, knowing the type of fungus affecting your lawn may be helpful in finding/using the right treatment. Of course, there are numerous fungi out there and it can be difficult pinpointing which one it is.
