how to care for and propagate jade plants

I want to start jade from cuttings and then maintain them properly for my lanai.

Can propagate "Jade plants by a fat little leaf, take leaf off plant, let it stay aside for about a day to get a scab. then stick in per lite. Just a "tiny drop of water to get the perlite around the leaf, or leaves, ..It's really a tree that grows 25'..or more, but don't wait around for that. Jade don't care to much for water, i water mine about once a month. WW.2 Guy
