Q.How Long Will The Seeds Last Before Planting Them
I would like to collect the seeds from the mature Mondo grass that I have and keep them until next spring. Is this possible?

Mondo grass seeds, when stored under proper conditions, can remain viable for about 2 to 3 years, with the best results typically within the first year of storage. To maximize their viability, it's crucial to store the seeds in a cool, dry place with temperatures ideally below 60°F (15°C). Additionally, using airtight containers can help protect the seeds from moisture and pests, which can significantly degrade their germination potential. Properly stored seeds should still have a reasonable germination rate even if planted the following spring.
