Zone Zone 9 | Anonymous added on February 3, 2023 | Answered

I left my pineapple plants outside during the coldest days and my pineapple plant is yellow and it drooping. I don’t understand why it got like that because I cover them. My mom left her pineapples outside in as well and her plants are green. Please help I don’t want to lose my plants.

Did you cover them with plastic? Plastic can make matters worse if it touches the plant. Always use a blanket or burlap, or cover first with a cloth then plastic. There also are frost covers you can purchase. Here are tips on plant covers and what to do after frost damage.
