Q.how do you stop grass from growing in a vegetable garden
I’m using a new area and it was tilled and Scotts vegetable soil was put over the entire area. After I planted my vegetables, there is grass coming up everywhere. Is there a safe soultion to this? Thank you please help.

You can try mulch, such as a straw mulch or sheets of newspaper laid over where you don't want weeds to grow.
