Q.How do I root my Anabelle Hydrangeas from cuttings ?

I Have mature Anabelle Hydrangeas in my garden, and I want to propagate them by planting cuttings in pots. I’ve used rooting powder on the cut edge when planting but it hasn’t rooted. I’ve read that dipping the rooting end in honey as a rooting medium works, has anyone tried this successfully ?. Your advice will be much appreciated.

I don't know anyone who has used the honey method, but here are instructions if you would like to try it. Also are tips for growing hydrangeas from stem cuttings:
