How Do I Go About Planting Citrus Trees?

I would like to plant some citrus trees into our lawn area but I have heavy clay based soil with minimal topsoil. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should go about planting the trees?

It really depends on the type of citrus tree your are planting but first and foremost I would suggest fixing the clay soil to better your chances of success. Here is more information:
