Q.how do i get rid of aphids and ants on bushes
These aphids are on shrubs and trees that are in direct sunlight. The ants are up the outside walls of the house and going inside (very tiny ants). The aphids are on the bushes all around the house. How do I kill both and what homemade product will do it? I heard that water, beer and dish soap may do the trick. Is that true?

Typically, ants are not a threat to the garden but are instead attracted to the honeydew secretions left behind from certain pests, like aphids (which can be controlled with neem oil). Cornmeal is often used in home remedies for treating ants.
