How Do I Care For Magnolia Tree Until Landscaper Arrives To Plant?

I had to replace a tree in my community and it has arrived, A 3 ft magnolia. However, landscaper is not due for 3 more days. How should I care for this tree until then? I don’t want to harm it in the interim. It was purchased at Home Depot and arrived in cardboard box with plastic bag around pot. I don’t want to harm it. Thank you in advance.

Remove it from the box and plastic if you haven't already. Set it outside in a shady location and keep it watered. It should be fine.
