How Come My Zoysiagrass Isn’t Turning Out To Be Evenly Spread?

I planted my zoysia grass in patches on September 21 and it was fine. But since then it hasn’t spread out evenly and there are lots of big brown spots on the lawn. I used organic fertilizer and DAP while planting it.

Was the grass kept moist while it was growing? That can be a factor. You will need to reseed the large areas. The smaller bare spots should fill in. Here are general lawn care tips:
