Q.How can increase the roots of my kaffir lime tree?

Zone Fairfax, VA | Anonymous added on June 8, 2018 | Answered

My kaffir lime tree’s roots are incredibly small and theres barely any roots when we repotted it today. What can we do? Its summer here in the washington DC area so we’ve left it outside for awhile. The soil wasn’t completely soaked, it was a regular moisture

I would try a root stimulating fertilizer like root n grow. This fertilizer is a 4-10-3. Any fertilizer with a higher middle number (phosporus) in it's npk ratio, will help promote root growth. Bone meal might also help.
