Q.How Best Can I “spread” Gerber Daisies I Planted This Past Spring?

Zone 11746 long island | Anonymous added on October 2, 2022 | Answered

I am redoing an entire garden area and have four gerber daisies which have done well. I want to relocate them if possible OR divide or use the seeds to have more. The entire soil area is being worked to include grass clippings, compost and top soil first, then redesign the garden.

They are not hardy in your zone 7. (They are hardy to zone 8.) So, you can move them into a container and bring them inside. Here is more on overwintering and dividing.
