How And When To Divide Giant Calla Lily

Question

My white giant calla lily is now so big flowers and leaves at the sides can’t get to the sun. It started flowering in March and has produced 50 + flowers. It’s now June and less flowers are being produced and it’s starting to wilt. Im not sure if that’s due to the heaviness of the plant now. How do I divide it and when do I do this? can I do it now – or do I wait. The lily is green all year round.

It is best to divide them after flowering and when the leaves dry or die back, depending on your climate. Here is how:
