We made our first batch of horseradish last weekend and it has the heat we wanted but it lacks the sweetness/taste. We grew it in a big plastic trash can so it wouldn’t take over the yard and watered it every day. This was our first attempt so any advice for next year would be appreciated.

Inquire at your local food coops or Farmer's Markets for gardeners who make their own sauces.
They may be willing to mentor you.
