Q.Honeysuckle Problems

Anonymous added on August 27, 2013 | Answered

My cape honeysuckle has brown leaves (on the tips and edges). Some of the leaves have fallen off around the bottom of the bush and just the little leaf branches are left. It still produces orange trumpet flowers, but it looks pathetic. A friend told me I needed iron. Is this correct?

Friends offer well meaning advice. If your friend has performed a soil and/or leaf testing, I would withhold action until testing is done and results with recommendations are reported back to you. The following article has a lot of information you should find helpful: http://homeguides.sfgate.com/brown-leaves-cape-honeysuckle-36430.html
