Several years ago I bought four large, hardy Hibiscus plants. For a couple of years they thrived and were absolutely beautiful. Last summer it rained nonstop (no one had gardens) and the Hibiscus plants had a fungus look to them, and this year none of them came back. Is that common for Hibiscus plants? Can I plant more in the same spots, and should they do well again in better weather?
