Q.Hibiscus

Anonymous added on August 9, 2011 | Answered

Does the plant need full sun? I bought a plant that is supposed to be kept in the ground over the winter. I’m in Zone 5-6 on Long Island, NY. Do you have any suggestions?

Hardy hibiscus does do best in full sun, but it can be planted in part sun. The blooms will not be as prolific, but it will still be fine.
