How do you keep the hibiscus blooming all summer? Do yu just pull out the dead flowers after they bloom or do you pinch them back?

While you can deadhead if desired, this practice is not necessary. Your plant will be fine left as is. Pinching out the pods could actually inhibit additional blooming later on. To encourage blooming on a hibiscus, you want to use a high phosphorus fertilizer. The phosphorus encourages more blooms and larger blooms. It is best to follow the directions on the package for frequency as different fertilizers come in different strengths.
