Q.Hibiscus

Anonymous added on January 7, 2014 | Answered

I have Hibiscus bushes and they have grown pretty tall. The tops look great and are flowering, but the bottom of the bush is looking sticky and I don’t mean to touch, it’s branchy looking. Do they need to be cut?

Yes, it may be in need of a good pruning, though spring is normally the best time for this. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/tips-for-pruning-hibiscus-plants-when-to-prune-hibiscus.htm
