Q.Hibiscus
HI, I HAVE A Hibiscus that I grew last summer & since the winter,I had to cut it back, it didn’t freeze, so I’m just wondering if it will start to bloom back soon?? I HAVE ATTACHED A PICTURE OF MY HIBISCUS FROM LAST YEAR, IF YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW I CAN GET IT TO BE A LOT PRETTIER THIS YEAR, AND SHOULD I PLANT IT IN THE GROUND
There are many types of hibiscus, some of which are winter hardy and some that are not. Since your picture did not post, I assume yours is a tropical hibiscus. It may lose foliage in winter and throw new shoots in spring but you will need to wait until overnight temperatures are typically above 50F. Since your zone 8b is not frost free, I would not plant it in the ground unless you can quickly extract it if a sudden cold winter event is forecasted.
