Help With Peace Lily Flowers Are Browning Had To Cut Black Parts

Hello I purchased my peace lily from lowes and it was flourishing there but since I got it home the blooms have turned brown/black and the babies have died. I think I need to repot not sure. I did cut the flowers, the white parts that had black in them where they were black hope that was right but I fear I’m killing it. Please help. Images show rot already cut out. There is also something white on the leaves.

It, definitely, needs to be repotted! I think that doing so and treating with a fungicide will take care of the issue. Just be sure to give it the best care, possible, and take care not to overwater:
