I got a phalaenopsis orchid as a gift last week and it came with a card stating that it needs three ice cubes for watering once a week. I live in Brooklyn, NY and I have the plant on a kitchen counter close to a window north (I think) facing window. I enclosed a picture. Before I replant it, I would like to be sure it can be saved.
