Growth On Cactus

Question

My Saguaro came with this growth on it. It has been 3 years and hasn’t gotten any larger. Is this something I should cut out/off, or just leave it?

It may be an area that callused over after insect injury, so probably best to leave it. If you don't see evidence of insect tunnelling or invasion I wouldn't be too concerned. It may eventually fall off.

You wouldn't want to cut it off unless it was a necrotic spot, but it doesn't appear to be.
