I was told that you can’t plant beans by corn. The beans will not produce if planted next to corn. Is this true?

Well, this is actually news to me. In fact, they make great companions in the garden. I have always planted these two crops together and have never had any issues, and I have been gardening for over 20 years. So, I would have to say this is definitely false.
