Grown Onion Sets For Years No Problem 3years Ago We Found The Onion Had Been Attacked By A Brown Grub At The Roots

Question

We have waited till the end of April before planting we put sets in pots of compost we have also used a nematodes drench all to no avail.Its not only us other frieand have told us they are having the same problem
