Q.Growing lemons at the beach

Zone Foxton Beach | Sayerfox added on July 15, 2016 | Answered

We are affected by the prevailing winds blowing directly in from the beach. Our newly planted lemon is looking off color (leaves losing their luster and color). Is there a solution to this?

Hardiness for Lemon Trees is zone 9-11.

Strong winds can disfigure a Lemon Tree and cause loss of leaves.
A sheltered area is needed for your Lemon Tree to grow and successfully produce fruit.
