Growing Basil In Garden Window

Question

Hi. I now have a garden window above my kitchen sink that faces west. I have a good idea about watering and sun requirements (that I’ve read online) but honestly, I would like to know if there are other growing tips to growing basil in a garden window. And, perhaps, if there is some sort of “growing guide” in PDF that I can have? My dad was the gardener in the family but he died 20 years ago so, I’m just trying to NOT kill this! 🙂
